A Big Rotary Membership Day: April 13, 2015!

We are very pleased to have Bekir Akca, a staff member of Turkish Embassy in Ottawa and a student at the Carleton University, join us as a member of our club.
On this day, we also warmly welcomed Marcus Hewitt who is with CMA, a finance firm for Canadian physicians, as a member of our club.
Both young men have been connected with Rotary for a long time and we welcome them as full fledged Rotarians of our club.
On the exact same day, our numbers grew even more with the induction of all the new members of the Rotary Metro Club of Ottawa, a satellite club of the Rotary Club of Ottawa.
This enthusiastic satellite group has taken the plunge after several years of helping to promote Rotary and work on various fundraisers for service projects, both here and abroad. 2014-15 District Governor, Ariane Carriere, Area Governor, Faye Campbell, and several members of the Executive and Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Ottawa were present to welcome the new club.
