Food Sorting at the Food Bank

Members of the Ottawa Rotary Club recently spent an afternoon busily sorting food at the Ottawa Food Bank. The event was followed by rest and fellowship at a nearby pub.     Sadly, one in four Ottawa households faced food insecurity in 2023 (up from 1 in 7 in 2022).   The Ottawa Food Bank provides fresh and non-perishable food, as well as supplies such as diapers, toiletries and cleaning supplies to its network of over 100 food programs across the city.  The Ottawa Rotary Club is proud to support the Ottawa Food Bank financially and through volunteer activities such as food drives and food sorting.
