We are very proud that one of the two students whom the Rotary Club of Ottawa has supported over the past four years as part of the club’s Centennial International Project has completed her studies and written her exams.
Catherine is taking a well-deserved break, awaiting her exam results. Our other student, Joan, has moved on to her next form at Kicwamba School, Mbarara, Uganda. Our club has covered both tuition fees and uniforms for the two girls, who likely would not have continued their secondary studies without this support. When necessary, we also covered tutoring fees which have had the desired results.
