We have created a new style of event called Recipes for Change with aims to help fund our operations, provide an outlet for teams to engage with our community in the kitchen, and learn a little bit more about our food systems and have some deeper conversations about our relationship with the community and food security. Also it's super fun! Everything is provided by Parkdale including ingredients, recipes, packaging, chef instruction and guidance, set up, tear down, and dishwasher. |

Your team will get a tour and an introduction to what we do here at Parkdale and why. They will work in the kitchen to prepare upwards of 100 portions of food, and during the down time they will be engaged in an advocacy activity that will help to get them acquainted with some of our challenges at Parkdale and how to become more involved in shaping healthy food systems.
At the end of the workshop your team will sit down and dine together on the meal they prepared and do some wrap up activities. The meals you prepare will go towards our community meals or community freezer.
All in all it is a low stakes way to engage with the community, have fun in the kitchen, gain some skills, and enjoy celebrating your team
